About Rembecca Richardson

Rebecca is a founding member of the Women in Politics Foundation. A graduate of Cornell University, she is an architect in Kansas City, Missouri. She moved her work to her hometown after many years in the San Francisco area.

Rebecca is a past president of the Greater Kansas City Women's Political Caucus and was awarded the Pillar Award in 2023. She has served on the board of the Missouri Women's Political Caucus, and the Missouri Women's Leadership Coalition. She received a Trailblazers Award from the Missouri Women’s Political Caucus in 2024. Rebecca believes the fight for equality is a marathon, and we must remain committed to the work.

Having achieved leadership in a field where women are underrepresented, Rebecca is passionate about women’s equality. She worked closely for many years with Rosemary Smith and Biddy Hurlbut, legends in the quest for women’s equality in Kansas City and founders of the Women in Politics Foundation.
