About ROSE BELL

Rose Marie Bell retired from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2011 as a Senior Academic Advisor/Instructor after 32 years of service. During that time she served on the Chancellor’s Extended Cabinet, among other positions. She is a veteran of the Vietnam War era and U.S. Women's Army Corps/Army Reserves. Rose is highly engaged in her community, including as a trustee of the KCMO Public Libraries; board member of Communities Creating Opportunities and the KCMO Property Maintenance Appeal Board. She is a past president of the Greater Kansas City Women’s Political Caucus. Rose was listed in the 2014 Who’s Who in Black Kansas City guide.
