About Sonia Nizami

Sonia Nizami is a long-time Independence, Missouri, resident who is passionate about working toward progress in her community and state. Her strong belief in public service led her to enter a Missouri legislative race in 2022. Sonia also believes in honoring the women in politics who came before us and made a difference; she is a founding member of the foundation’s history project. Sonia works in the consumer finance sector.
